What are the Biblical Holy Days?
The Biblical Holy Days are the ordained Festivals observed by the followers of God as recorded in the Scriptures. Within these Annual Festivals there are seven Annual Sabbaths or "Holy Convocations" in addition to the weekly Sabbath which is also a Holy Convocation. On these Sabbaths work is restricted.
The Passover: This is a memorial day. It is not one of the "Annual Sabbaths" as work is not prohibited. "In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S Passover." Leviticus 23:5
The Seven Annual Sabbaths in order are:
- 1st Day of Unleavened Bread
- 7th Day of Unleavened Bread
- Pentecost
- Feast of Trumpets
- Day of Atonement
- 1st Day of the Feast of Tabernacles
- Last Great Day.
